Thanks to you, from 2018-2023 we raised over

$6,875.00 to donate to GiGi's Playhouse for Down Syndrome Awareness.

If you’re unsure of what this shirt represents, it is an opportunity to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome. At Lifting Culture we want to help individuals with Down syndrome be the best that they can be!

We’ve teamed up with CrossFit Iron Legion to help raise awareness and funding for Down Syndrome. Ted Dreaver, owner of Iron Legion, started a gym in his backyard and slowly built Iron Legion into what it is today: a community of friends and family who have come together to not only support and inspire one another’s fitness journeys, but their lives as a whole. Ted's daughter Kiera was born with Down syndrome. “What initially scared him turned into a blessing because he realized there is no better community of love and support for her to grow up in.”

Each year, on National Down Syndrome Day, Iron Legion holds “Down For Donuts”, a functional fitness competition, at his gym in Ocala, Florida and donates 100% of proceeds to GiGi’s Playhouse in Gainesville, Florida. These are the shirts the athletes, spectators, and supporters will be wearing at the event. This event will take place March 23rd, 2024. We will also be donating 100% of the proceeds from every shirt purchased to GiGi’s Playhouse.
