The Maui wildfires that occurred in early August of 2023 have been deemed the worst natural disaster that the state of Hawaii has ever faced. The unprecedented Maui fires caused widespread destruction on the island, including the loss of homes, property, and natural habitats due to the uncontrolled spread of flames.

In an effort to support both immediate and long-term relief efforts, Lifting Culture has launched the fundraising campaign, “Lift Maui Up” in which 100% of profits from this release are donated to Aloha United Way. 

Aloha United Way is a nonprofit organization that works to improve the lives of individuals and families in Hawaii by mobilizing resources, funding programs, and promoting collaborations to address community needs.

Aloha United Way has established a Maui Relief Fund where 100 percent of proceeds go directly to Maui United Way, whose partner agencies include Maui Food Bank, the Red Cross and the Salvation Army.

Maui’s Governor has stated, “Our focus now is to reunite people when we can and get them housing and get them healthcare, and then turn to rebuilding.”
